Hanmudo seminar Italy 2007 On 17 and 18 February, Mr. Pietro
Pinga and Mr. Nicola Fusco hosted a Hanmudo seminar with Master Frans van
Boxtel. The seminar was held at the Benefit Club in Caserta. Besides his
wife Marianne, Master van Boxtel was accompanied by Harm Verkuijlen, Rob
Plasmans and Robbin Bonthond. Students of Mr. Pinga’s school and Mr. Fusco‘s
school attended this seminar as well as Taekwondo black belts from several
other schools. After a warm welcome, the first day started with many variations of Son Mok Sul. After lunch, Master van Boxtel taught intermediate and advanced level techniques to the students and 4th Dan techniques to Mr. Pinga and Mr. Fusco. Sunday was mainly focused on high level techniques. During the day the participants learned techniques like Pyung Soo Sul (palm strikes) and Ji Ab Sul (pressure points). Next year Mr. Pinga and Mr. Fusco will be hosting another seminar with Master van Boxtel. Master Frans van Boxtel

Internationale Hanmudo seminar groot succes Uden 8 oktober In het weekend van 6, 7 en 8 oktober vulden de tennishallen van Tenniscentrum Uden zich met een groot aantal Hanmudo beoefenaars vanuit de hele wereld. Hier werd een Hanmudo seminar georganiseerd door Master Frans van Boxtel 5e Dan Hanmudo. Dit jaar waren er diverse speciale gasten uitgenodigd. De grondlegger van het Hanmudo, Dr. He-Young Kimm, grootmeester Serio en meesters uit Engeland, Zwitserland, Italië en natuurlijk Nederland reisden af naar Uden. Dit seminair stond in het teken van de zwarte band examens van vrijdag 6 oktober. Maar liefst 26 kandidaten legden met goed gevolg het examen af. Voorafgaand aan de examens werd anderhalf jaar geleden onder leiding van Frans van Boxtel een lerarenopleiding gestart waarbij vechtsportinstructeurs uit andere disciplines opgeleid werden tot Hanmudo instructeur. Na anderhalf jaar hard werken braken voor Frans spannende tijden aan om te zien of de kandidaten aan de zware exameneisen konden voldoen. Het examen vond afgelopen vrijdag plaats. Dr. He-Young Kimm was erg tevreden over het examenniveau waaruit bleek dat Frans van Boxtel zijn taak goed verricht heeft. In het seminar wat volgde op de examens werd door Dr. He-Young Kimm veel aandacht besteed aan het leraarschap en wat dit zal inhouden voor de instructeurs in spe. Frans geeft aan dat hij de lerarenopleiding niet tot succes had kunnen brengen zonder de hulp van zijn Hanmudo collega’s die ook bijgedragen hebben aan dit grote succes. Tenslotte wil Frans de grote opkomst en de goede sfeer prijzen en verder hoopt hij op een goed vervolg. The Names of the people the finish the test

European Hanmudo Seminar by Dr. He-Young Kimm On the 28 and 29 May 2005 the European Han Mu Do Seminar was held in Heesch, The Netherlands. This year Dojunim Dr. He-Young Kimm was accompanied by Master Mike Reed from Mandeville, Louisiana.
This seminar was definitely one of the most successful seminars ever. On behalf of the European Han Mu Do Association, we want to thank everybody who participated in this seminar.
05-22- 2005 Fifth day "Special Hanmudo Black Belt Course" On Sunday 22 May 2005, it was the 5th day of the Hanmudo Black Belt Course. The main purpose of this day was the test for Cho Keub Ban. After the warming up, everybody had time to review the techniques, mainly focused on Son Mok Sul and Oht Sul. After the break the test began. The participants had to show all the techniques from Bhang Kwon Sul-Son up to Bhang Jok Sul. Everybody worked hard to impress the examiners and they succeeded. After the test was done, Mr. Hamza Keskin took over the class, focussing on techniques using the Infinity Block (Moo Han Dae). At the end of the day, the results were pronounced and everybody passed. This was the first test from the participants towards their Black Belt test at the end of next year. Still, there is a long way to go to Black Belt.
03-01-2005 This second Courseday was held 27 February and everybody whom attended the first day was present and even there were new attendies. At first there was a review of 30 january. The new topics that day were Yuk-Son Mok Sul and Oht Sul. As expected the Oht Sul asked for extra attention. 01-15-2005 On Sunday 30 January Master Frans van Boxtel hosted the first day of the Hanmudo Course for the Dutch Taekwondo Instructors. Mr. Hamza Keskin and Mr. Harm Verkuylen assisted that day. 35 People from WTF Taekwondo as well as ITF Taekwondo attended. Everybody was very enthousiastic about Hanmudo, especially with the structure of the techniques, which makes Hanmudo so unique. The topics were Bhang Kwon Sul-Son, Bhang Kwon Sul-Bal and Son Mok Sul. After 7 hard hours of training, the first day was finished. Some instructors already expressed their interest of teaching Hanmudo at their own schools in the near future. Rescheduled: 2005 European Hanmudo Seminar and Black Belt Test Hanmudo Europe will be holding their 2005 European Hanmudo Seminar and Black Belt Test on 27, 28 and 29 May in Uden, The Netherlands. The Black Belt Test is scheduled for Friday evening and the Seminar will be on Saturday and Sunday. More details will be published as soon as possible. Special Hanmudo Black Belt Course for Dutch Taekwondo Instructors Because of a lot of Taekwondo Instructors in The Netherlands are interested to learn Hanmudo, Master van Frans van Boxtel is hosting a Special Hanmudo Black Belt Course for Dutch Taekwondo Instructors. The purpose of this course is training up to 1st Dan Black Belt in Hanmudo. During this course the participants will be testing in Cho Keub Ban (beginner level), Joong Keub Ban (intermediate level) and Sang Keub Ban (advanced level). After these 3 tests, they will be testing for their 1st Dan Black Belt in 2006. The course will start 30 January 2005.
